Käesoleva rahvusvahelise grupinäituse on kokku kutsunud Sven-Erik Stamberg, keda tunneme teeneka kunstirühmituse Vedelik ühe juhtfiguuri ning produktiivse kollaažikunstnikuna.

Nii kuraator kui rühmitus on tänavu erilises sõiduvees - meenutagem siinkohal Janno Bergmanni/Marko Toomasti kureeritud mastaapset retrospektiivnäitust Pärnu Linnagalerii Raekojas ning Vedeliku publikuprogrammist pakatavat etteastet Tartu Kunstimajas.

Ka see näitus järgib Vedeliku parimaid etteaimamatu voolamise põhimõtteid ja võtteid:

„Kuna mul juhtub täituma Bastille aastapäeval 55 aastat ja siis kui see number peegeldusse

panna, tekib nende vahele valge rist ehk kohal on nähtus nimega sacred >jumalik geomeetria< , 

mille erilisuse puhul mõtlesin, et võiks väikse näituse kureerida.

Tingimusi eriti pole, meedium on vaba ja oodatud oleks, et igaüks teeb/ajab oma asja.”

 This international group exhibition has been initieted by Sven-Erik Stamberg, whom we 

know as one of the leading figures of the meritorious art group Vedelik (Liquid in English) 

and a productive collage artist. Both the curator and the group are in high waters this year - 

let’s recall the large-scale retrospective exhibition curated by Janno Bergmann/Marko 

Toomast at the Pärnu City Gallery Town Hall and the Vedelik exhibition packed with public 

events at the Tartu Art House.

This exhibition also follows the best principles and techniques of unpredictable flow:
“Since I happen to be turning 55 on Bastille Day, and when I put that number in a mirror, 

a white cross appears between them, indicating a phenomenon called sacred >divine 

geometry<, which is so special that I thought I could curate a small exhibition.
There are no particular conditions, the medium is free and everyone is expected to do 

their own thing.”
